Svensk Filmindustri (SF), the leading Nordic film studio, has signed an exclusive output agreement with the fastest growing production company in Sweden, FLX. The agreement covers the Nordic region.
The agreement commences during 2016 and relates to all new projects in development.
FLX is owned and run by creators Felix Herngren, Pontus Edgren, Niclas Carlsson and Bonnier Growth Media.
“FLX will make major investments in the next few years to develop the next generation of commercial and high-quality feature films. Our portfolio consists of strong original ideas and IP with local and international potential. We looked for a strong partner from the start and we have this with SF”, says Pontus Edgren, Managing Partner of FLX.
For close to 100-years, SF has been the leading film company in the Nordics. In recent years SF has substantially strengthened the organization to adapt to the new market conditions driven by increased digitalization and strong demand for local content.
“FLX is one of the most successful production companies in the Nordics with a strong team of key talent and creators. We have a firm belief in the company and its ability to deliver box office success. This agreement reflects our strategy of working close with a number of Nordic production companies and being part of the whole process from development to launch”, says Jenny Stjernströmer Björk.
