Influencer marketing agency Tailsweep has appointed Öjje Holt as new CEO for the company. Öjje is a veteran on the Swedish start-up scene with a background including Managing Director Nordics at Spotify, and most recently as Chief Revenue Officer at podcast platform Acast, where he is also co-founder.
"We are very happy to have Öjje on board. He has a strong and relevant background, with central roles in Spotify, Apple iTunes and Microsoft, and most recently as Chief Revenue Officer at our portfolio company Acast. Öjje’s mission is primarily to continue developing Tailsweep's offerings to the market, rooted in our strong content combined with innovative technology", says Ulrika Saxon, CEO of Bonnier Growth Media.
Tailsweep is today the leading influencer network in the Nordics, with a combined 4 million million unique blog visitors a week and 6.5 million followers on Instagram. In 2016, Brand Publishing, subsidiary of Spoon, took over sales at Tailsweep in an effort to to strengthen its native advertising offering.
"We have the best possible conditions to succeed, with the Nordic region's strongest line-up of engaged influencers. My mission is clear, exciting and challenging: to make Tailsweep an indispensable partner for both influencers and advertisers in the midst of fierce competition. I am convinced that Tailsweep has drawn right conclusion on the shift from traditional to native advertising. I look forward to refine our offerings, working closely with Brand Publishing and our strong influencers", says Öjje Holt.
